The Coastal Palette

Just as the coastal landscape tells stories of ebb and flow, mixed media art draws viewers into narratives of their own making. Layers of translucent papers create depth, inviting you to explore hidden depths and unearth new perspectives with each new look.  These layers mirror the ever-changing coastal environment.

The photos I take as I travel around the low country are a constant inspiration for my art pieces.  These are a few of my photos and my painted papers that get torn up and incorporated into my whimsical creatures and landscapes.
