Tracy Towry Wachholz

I am a native of Natchitoches, Louisiana, but now live in Beaufort, SC.  At 50, I decided I needed more whimsy in my life, so I embarked on an artistic journey to see what kind of creatures I could find in my little art studio.  I have an enormous love for animals and nature, and my whimsical pieces all reflect this.  When people ask if I "paint", I tell them...kind of.  My art uses everything including the kitchen sink.  I use wax pastels, newspaper, napkins, magazines, gouache, acrylic, oil, ink, acrylic dye, markers, pens, pencils--basically anything that stands still long enough in my studio. I love being able to share my whimsical pieces with you.
